Optishoot was formed to raise awareness of the benefits of optical shooting; to support organisers, coaches and participants and to provide the very best equipment solutions from leisure to elite.
Optishoot Ltd is the UK and Ireland reseller and technology partner of Ecoaims, a Finnish manufacturer of optical sport shooting systems. We provide complementary RedDot optical targetry and laser shooting equipment from Disag in Germany. Optishoot creates innovative sports solutions via custom software development. A full-service provider for spares and maintenance; we also deliver events from competitions to corporate.
Optishoot began with a simple observation on the range: shooting sport was being held back not by a lack of interest, but by everything around it — the cost of ammunition, the licensing, the need for a dedicated range and constant safety supervision. Talented newcomers were turned away long before they ever found out whether they enjoyed the sport.
Optical shooting changed that equation. With no projectile and no propellant, a full session can run in a sports hall, a classroom, a clubhouse or a marquee — with the same trigger discipline, the same stance and the same scoring precision as live fire. Having seen the technology proven at international level, our founder set out to bring it to clubs and organisers across the UK and Ireland.
Optishoot Ltd was formed to do exactly that: to raise awareness of the benefits of optical shooting, and to put credible, competition-grade equipment into the hands of the people running the sport day to day. We became the UK and Ireland reseller and technology partner for Ecoaims of Finland, and added complementary RedDot optical targetry and laser shooting equipment from DISAG in Germany.
What began as equipment supply grew into a full service. Clubs asked for scoring that matched their own competition formats, so we built custom software. They asked who would keep the kit running, so we took on spares and maintenance. They asked for help staging events, so we started delivering them — from competitions to corporate days.
Recognising that cost, licensing and range access — not a lack of appetite — were the real barriers to participation in shooting sport.
Appointed UK and Ireland reseller and technology partner for Ecoaims optical sport shooting systems.
Added RedDot optical targetry and laser shooting equipment, giving organisers a complete range-in-a-box solution.
Built bespoke scoring and competition software for formats that off-the-shelf systems could not handle, including biathlon and modern pentathlon.
Equipment, software, spares, maintenance, rental and event delivery — supporting clubs, schools, governing bodies and corporate clients across the UK and Ireland.
We exist to remove the barriers that keep people out of shooting sport, and to give the organisers who run it equipment and support they can depend on — from a first taster session to elite competition.
To raise awareness of the benefits of optical shooting and open the sport to anyone, anywhere — no ammunition, no licence, no dedicated range. Whether the venue is a school hall, a leisure centre or a national championship, the barrier to taking a first shot should be as low as we can make it.
To stand behind organisers, coaches and participants with the very best equipment solutions from leisure to elite — backed by custom software, genuine spares, responsive maintenance and hands-on event delivery. We supply systems that have to work on the day, so we make sure they do.
Four commitments shape every system we supply and every event we deliver.
Optical shooting removes the cost, licensing and safety barriers of live fire — so taking part becomes a decision, not a hurdle.
Competition-grade systems from Ecoaims and DISAG, with scoring accurate enough for elite training, selection and championship use.
Custom software built around real competition formats, so organisers can run their event their way rather than the software’s way.
A full-service partner for spares, maintenance and event delivery — not a one-off supplier who disappears after the invoice.
